How Do I Host A Vision Board Party? And What Is It?
A vision board party is a goal-setting event where you and your friends come together to create powerful vision boards to manifest your dreams! If you’ve never heard of this kind of party before, this is a sign for you to throw one right now!

Make A Guest List + Send Out Invitations
There’s no rule when it comes to how many people you can invite to your party. It can just be your close friends and family, or you can invite literally all of your Facebook friends in you want to. By the way, if some of your friends live across the country and can’t attend in person, you can invite them to join virtually on Zoom!
Once you’ve decided who to invite, send out a digital invitation through email or social media. (Or a physical letter invitation if you want to get fancy lol)
Gather Vision Board Supplies
You’ll need the following items to make sure every party guest has the supplies to create an awesome vision board:
- Poster boards
- Magazines (to cut quotes or pictures from)
- Glue sticks
- Stickers (decoration purposes)
- Markers & crayons
- Anything that makes you happy and provides inspo❤
✨Not sure where to find aesthetically pleasing inspo for your vision board? Here are 30 vision board affirmation cards that you can print out and add to your board! They’re so gorgeous I’m literally so in love with them????
Prepare Snacks and Drinks
What’s a party without some delicious snacks and drinks? Plus, creating an awesome vision board can take a while since it really requires some thought and effort. Here are some bougie and fancy food ideas for your party, haha:
Fancy Donut Wall
This donut wall idea is honestly sooo adorable and can be used at any party! I didn’t know these things existed until I attended one of my besties’ birthday parties. Needless to say, I immediately fell in love with this party food idea!
Popsicles and alcohol? Say less!
Of course, we wouldn’t want to be fully drunk while creating our vision boards because, sis, you don’t want to be crying and trying to manifest that toxic ex-boyfriend you still can’t forget about. (Yikes!) However, a little bit of champagne or cocktail can actually be great for helping you relax and channeling that boss b*$ch energy!
Three-Tier Snack Tower
Don’t have a lot of space at your manifestation party venue? Consider getting a tiered snack tower to make use of the limited room. Since most of your table area would be used for vision board DIY materials, displaying the food and snacks vertically on a tower can make setting up your event much less stressful.
Set Up A Printing Station
Of course, you can always create digital vision boards with the help of Pinterest and Canva. However, the whole purpose of a vision board creation party is to create a tangible visualization tool that you can take home! So setting up a printing station will be super helpful for guests that want to print out inspirational pictures they found online.
Prepare A “Manifestation Playlist” (Optional)
Okay, so I don’t know about you guys! But I LOVE LOVE LOVE listening to high-vibration music throughout the day to keep my frequency high. To make your party even more motivational, play some manifestation music in the background! You can create your own playlist on Spotify, but here are just some of my favorites that always get me super hyped about my future!
- Bigger – Beyonce
- 7 Rings – Ariana Grande
- Started From The Bottom – Drake
- I Am – Yung Baby Tate, Flo Milli
- Positive Vibration – Bob Marley & The Wailers
- Believe It – Chris-n-Teeb
- Eye Am That I Am – Toni Jones
- Monopoly – Ariana Grande, Victoria Monet
- Look At Her Now – Selena Gomez
- Good Thing – Zedd, Kehlani
- The Light Is Coming – Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj
- 11:11 – Londrelle

What Does A Vision Board Do For You?
The best thing about vision boards is how they can help you FOCUS on what you want. By creating a collage of items that represent your dreams and goals, you’re subconsciously helping your mind visualize it vividly. And when you hang your board in a place where you can see it daily, you’re reprograming your subconscious mind each day without even realizing it.
Think of your vision board like a real-life Pinterest board. It’s something that can keep you inspired and motivated to take action toward achieving your dreams every single day.
When you encounter hardships in life, it can be really easy to lose track of where you want to go and who you want to be. With the help of a vision board, you’ll be reminded of “why” you started in the first place!
What To Put On A Vision Board?
There is no strict rule as to what you can or cannot put on a vision board. However, your board should include everything that inspires you and motivate you to achieve your dream life.
First, think about your goals in these aspects:
- Career and finances
- Personal growth
Take a mental inventory of what your dream life would look like in these different categories of your life. Then, start browsing the internet or magazines for images that inspire you and make you feel excited about your future!
Also, don’t be afraid to get creative with it! Deck out your board with cute stickers, fun markets, scrapbook elements, and even glitter! Do whatever makes you happy because that’s what a vision board is supposed to make you feel : )

Questions To Ask At A Vision Board Themed Party
When creating your vision board, it’s so important to actually “feel” and “picture” yourself in the moment when all your goals have been realized. Start by asking yourself these questions:
- Where am I?
- What am I wearing and what am I doing?
- Is there a particular scent or smell in the air?
- What is the temperature? Is it humid or dry?
- How do I carry myself now? Do I speak more confidently than before?
- What do you hear?
- How do I feel now that I’ve achieved all of my goals? Calm, disbelief, proud, or gratitude?
However, if you haven’t really thought about where you want to be in the future yet, it’s okay! Ask yourself these questions first to help you get an idea of your future vision:
- What are my values?
- If money was no object, nothing was impossible, what would I want or do?
- What drives me?
- How would my life look like if I could live it the way I want?
- What does success look like to me? Financial freedom? Happiness?
- Is there something that I’m deeply passionate about?
- What do I enjoy doing the most in my free time?
- How would I know if I’ve lived a good life?
- What have I always wanted to do but was afraid to try?
Woohoo! I’m so excited for your vision board party experience! It’s going to be amazing. After the party, don’t forget to bring your board home and hang it up somewhere you can see every single day.
Pro Tip: Take a picture of your vision board and set it as the wallpaper on your phone or laptop. This way, you HAVE to look at it at least once a day.
“Where focus goes, energy flows”
And this is why vision boards work so well. By focusing your attention on the end (your goals) daily, you’re giving it energy and helping it materialize in the 3D world. Whenever those negative thoughts start entering your mind, take a deep breath and shift your focus onto your vision board. Get into the feeling of the wish fulfilled. And relax! Know that the universe is always taking care of you and everything will be alright : )
